While the focus will be on mama, I always encourage mothers to include their family into their maternity photos. It’ll be wonderful for the baby to be able to look back at these images and see how excited the entire family was to welcome him or her into this world. Here are some tips for including family into your maternity photos:
Coordinating outfits work great but please don’t wear matching outfits. It’s so nice when outfits complement each other but everyone’s personality and style still shows through the choice of clothing they wear.
Avoid patterns, as they tend to be distracting for this type of session.
As far as colors go, neutrals are always lovely. Or, if you prefer color, include pops of color in a scarf or cardigan, and go for solid colors for example.
